big things in store for MOVEment

19 01 2009

Alright, so I’ve got this idea for a program that I’m toying with running through my company here in Murfreesboro… Only women are allowed (sorry guys). Three months in duration. Lots of great, out-of-the-box training will be involved – no cardio bunnies in this class (sorry, I’m not a big fan of your “everyday,” boring training methods). Results guaranteed. I’m probably going to cap the sessions at 10 women at a time, possibly less depending on how it goes. It will be considerably cheaper than private training sessions, and more than likely twice as hard, which equals lots more bang for your buck (who doesn’t want that these days?). This will be a tough program, I’m not going to lie to you. No whiners are allowed – only women who are determined to reach their goals and have power over their food, not the other way around, will be allowed to participate. The women in this program will be strong, lean, and self-confident as a result.

I’m working all the logistics out right now while I’m finishing up my pregnancy (7 weeks to go!), and I will probably have to wait about 6 weeks after Roman is born to get the ball rolling. I would like to figure out a way to include Precision Nutrition in the package as well. Nutrition is over half the battle, so why not teach the best?

Anyway, it should be a big hit. ;)

And if you’re a women reading this (or a man that knows of a woman that would be interested) and you think you would be up for the challenge, please give me a shout. You can find all my contact information on the contact page of this blog.

make 2009 your best year yet

31 12 2008

Whew, it has been a while since I’ve written. I’ve been swamped with so much to do over the holidays, and as I type this I really should be cleaning and cooking for tonight’s NYE party at our house… It’s alright though, my pregnant feet needed a rest. :)

I’m really excited to see what 2009 brings. Roman will be born – I can’t wait to meet him. Once he’s here, I’m excited to see what transformations I’m able to witness in the gym (with my own body). I’ve never weighed this much in my life; I think it’s given me a new perspective on things. I will probably be a little more understanding with clients from now on, but I also plan on breaking barriers and plateaus after I deliver Roman. I want to use myself as an example that women can look amazing after kids. I’m also in the process of learning a new trade that I can use to work from home and contribute financially to our family. Next year will be the year that I launch that business and I’m excited to see where it goes.

Our lives will dramatically change in 2009, but who wants the same ole things all the time?? Change is good, and I will embrace it and make the most of it.

What about you?

how bad do you want it?

2 12 2008

It’s really late right now, but I’m super motivated. I’m in the process of learning some new stuff (some related to fitness and some not) and I’m majorly pumped. Like I’ve said in the past, I’m a big nerd. I love learning new stuff – I thrive on it. New bits of knowledge makes my world go round.

With that said, I can TASTE this new goal that I’ve set for myself. I want to make it happen really really bad.

So, what are your goals for the rest of this year and the new year coming up? How bad do you want to see these goals come to fruition?? Make up your mind and get to it. You are the deciding factor. No one can do this stuff for you. Whether your goal is physical, spiritual, financial, emotional, etc. make it happen.

You will be surprised what a simple paradigm shift can do for you. Try it out and see for yourself.
